| "Rethinking Ministry" Seminar: June 6-11 |
![]() |
Followers of Jesus from all sectors of the Body of Christ are wrestling with what it means to be God’s people, salt and light in every sphere of 21st century culture. Leaders routinely embrace the call to "equip the saints for ministry" – but what does that really mean? Through Bible study and interaction, personal reflection and storytelling, we’ll re-examine and assess the implications of unleashing all of God’s people into their God-given destinies within whatever sphere they’re called to minister (business, politics, the arts, education, etc). |
| "Rethinking Church" Seminar: September 15-17 |
| Deep inside, many followers of Jesus sense that the ways we are "doing church" fall short of fulfilling God’s call to be His covenant people while permeating the world like leaven in the loaf. This God-breathed restlessness can empower us to ask old questions in new ways, and receive fresh grace to re-examine our church assumptions, paradigms, and patterns. Through Bible study and interaction, we’ll explore plumb lines and principles that ground us in God’s Kingdom purposes while He unleashes His church to proclaim His excellencies in every dimension of 21st century culture. |
| East Gate Ministries Retreats: April 7-11 & September 8-12 |
| GDI
is also co-sponsoring two retreats for church leaders at Three Hills Inn,
led by East Gate Ministries. We are excited about partnering with East Gate Ministries in their life-giving ministry to pastors and church workers. These retreats are very similar to the "Beauty for Ashes" retreats GDI used to host at Three Hills--five days and four nights of immersion in loving care and hospitality, worship and the ministry of the Word--with plenty of space for rest and renewal. The retreats are provided AT NO COST, as part of East Gate’s ministry to those in ministry. To learn more about East Gate and this unique opportunity, please visit www.eastgateministries.org, or email Tim Sawtelle at tim@eastgateministries.org. These retreats fill up fast, so act quickly if you or someone you know needs to be there! |
