GDI cluster members cultivate creativity and entrepreneurship in a variety of ways.

Mark and Monica Neubauer, for instance, embody these values in the business arena. The Neubauers first became associated with GDI while serving as missionaries in Asia. After returning to the United States, Mark started a graphic design business and Monica got involved in real estate.

In the years since he started Neubauer Design, Mark has used this business to help many organizations visually communicate their identity, purpose, values and vision, often with Kingdom-related goals.

Take for example, the logo Mark designed for Destiny Discover Quest: Tilting the image and using arrows at the end of the D and the Q communicates the dynamic and impacting nature of this program. Viewers get a sense of DDQ's value for excellence by the font. Finally, the logo is designed to look a bit like a passport stamp, linking the image to the quest theme. This association is deepened by the choice of color and the faded look
