Charlene
Fike
Charlene Fike and her husband Doug began their creative partnership
as college students and have served together in pastoring, starting
businesses, planting churches, launching a discipleship training program
and mentoring students & missionaries. In 1995 they purchased a
country inn in Virginia. For years Three Hills Inn ran as a business
and was used to strategically host ministry leaders at minimal cost.
In recent years expanded development on the Three Hills grounds has
allowed GDI to use dedicated housing for ministry guests, which in turn
has created the space and time necessary for Charlene to turn this beautiful
old house into the premier country inn she's always seen it as.
Years
ago Charlene made a goal to own five businesses by the time she was
40 years of age. Jesus, the ultimate entrepreneur, honored her youthful
zeal teaching her through trial and error principles of Kingdom-inspired
business. Currently she networks with other business, ministry and arts
leaders to mentor an emerging generation of Jesus-followers committed
to bring the Kingdom of God into all spheres of life.
Eric
and Wendy Good
Eric and Wendy serve as GDI ministry hosts, cordinating the arrrivals
and departures of
leaders who come for stays of varying lengths at Three Hills. They also
provide input and administrative support for on-site events. Wendy is
a certifed coach with Transformational Leadership Coaching. She coaches
church and business leaders across the nation and is a sought-after
speaker and teacher for coaching-related events. Eric is a worship leader,
a businessman and a songwriter who travels internationally with Vanguard
ministries. Eric and Wendy live at Three Hills with their three sons
Jamin, Ethan and Braden.

and Christa Reuel

his background in the arts and his strengths as a writer. Christa works
as a web and print designer. She is also emerging as a conceptual artist.
In this work she draws from literature,
philosophy, music and film. Jonathan is a songwriter, a community builder
and a creative consultant. He has toured extensively in the US and Canada
performing original music and speaking about the arts, community and
the Kingdom of God. He consults artists, worship leaders and entrepreneurs.
The Reuels are launching a microchurch in Charlottesville, Virginia
and dreaming about an arts reformation. This dream was also the impetus
behind the Dandelion Seed Company which began
in 2001.
Karen
Bontrager
Karen Bontrager has walked in various leadership roles in church and
para-church settings, including children and mentoring ministries, strategic
missions, and advocacy for the unreached. She believes in living life
intentionally with both God and people.
Karen
experienced profound insights into God’s ways of leadership development
through the ministry of GDI. This brought deep healing, refreshment
and the ability to re-engage God’s plan and processing for her
life. This experience, along with her passion to multiply into others
and to exhort them to believe God for ALL he has purposed for their
lives, drew Karen to be part of GDI’s core team. She brings administrative
giftings as well. Karen and her husband, Doug, and their two children,
Amber and Tyler, moved from Indiana to the beautiful mountains of Virginia
in the summer of 2005. They reside in Sycamore Cottage, on the Three
Hills property.
